We funded a class set of the novel Bud, Not Buddy for an upcoming novel study for a 4th/5th grade classroom. All 30 students will get their own special copy of the book which will allow everyone to read, annotate and discuss the important themes of the book in depth. 

Peres K-8 School
Richmond

We purchased warm sleeping bags for the students at Peres to go on an incredible 5 day camping trip. The program the students will be attending is a principal program and brings together 4th and 5th grade classes from markedly different communities for a profound weeklong experience in nature.

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital School
San Francisco

We made a donation to the school at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. The school supports both patients and their siblings while they are being treated at the hospital. Our donation will provide special prizes and a celebration for all the students who participated in their recent Read-A-Thon.
